the Harry C. Moores Foundation.
Immigration Legal Services
CRIS is the only non-profit immigration legal services program in Central Ohio.  We
offer professional legal services to low- and moderate-income individuals at nominal
fees.  Program staff includes three immigration attorneys, a coordinator and interns from local law
schools.  
Available services include assistance with:

  • Applications for US citizenship
  • Fiancée Visas
  • Immigration case inquiries
  • Notary services
  • Representation (in immigration court,
    asylum office, and USCIS)
  • Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
  • Visa Extensions
  • Affidavits of support
  • Asylum
  • Green Card applications
  • Immigration photos
  • Relative petitions
  • Review of immigration documents
  • Travel documents
       and
  • Work authorization

New clients are seen on a first come/first served, walk-in
basis during open immigration intake:

at the CRIS East office (3624 Bexvie Avenue)
every Tuesday and Thursday
9:00 am – 11:00 am
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
There is a $20 intake fee to meet with one of the lawyers.  If other services are provided,
other fees may be assessed.

We are only able to accept payment in cash or by money order.
Please note that beginning Tuesday, February 9, 2010, the intake fee for legal services will be $20.
